Philanthropy

Park West Gallery founders Albert and Mitsie Scaglione maintain a passionate ambition to improve the lives of others through personal giving, their own Park West Foundation and the philanthropic initiative Park West CARES.

Urban poverty and social issues threaten the minds, bodies and hopes of millions of children and adults around the world each day. The financial gifts and personal investments of the Scagliones into the lives of young people are inspired by their passion for making a measurable difference.

The Scagliones and the Park West Foundation have also donated extensive collections of art and art books to many prestigious universities and educational institutions including: Central Michigan University, Eastern Michigan University, Ferris State University, Grand Valley State University, Henry Ford Community College, Jackson Community College, Lake Michigan College, Lawrence Technological University, New Jersey Institute of Technology, Northwest State Community College, Print Club of Albany and Wittenberg University. Through their generosity, students, faculty, staff and visitors can discover the arts through the rich portrayals of artists from around the world.

FUNDRAISING AND CHARITABLE DONATIONS

Park West Gallery has always been a family-owned and operated business and the Scagliones continue to build upon that core of family values by choosing to make significant contributions to strengthen the health, social, educational and cultural fabric of the communities.

In addition, the Park West Gallery headquarters in Southfield, Michigan opens its doors free of charge to 501(c)(3) non-profit organizations in need of a location to host a benefit auction, fundraiser or other event.

There are countless causes worthy of support, however by focusing resources in a few areas the impact can be far greater. All donation requests, monetary and/or gifts-in-kind of artwork, will be thoroughly considered.
